Grilled Fig with Burnt Honey, Yoghurt & Pistachio

  1. Put the butter into a pan and heat it up. Then, add the honey and cook till it starts to caramelise a little. At this point, also put in the cinnamon powder.
  2. Now, put in the figs, cut side down. And grill on a low-medium heat till grilled well. (Note that figs cook quite fast, so don’t leave the pan) Feel free to spoon over the juices that mix in with the honey over the figs as they cook.
  3. Once they are golden brown, set the figs aside in a plate – arrange or crowd together, it doesn’t matter.
  4. Spoon the yoghurt into the middle of the plate and drizzle with some honey and garnish with the slivered pistachios. Now, drizzle the remaining pan juices over the dish and serve warm.
