I’ve been off the grid for a while! A lot has happened on the work end and I’ve been travelling constantly. But, the moment I got a breather from it all, I jumped back into the food world. Have quite a few things lined up for you’ll!
But before we move forward, I’m proud to tell you that I was featured in the Food Bloggers’ Association of India’s first ever edition of its e-zine Salt! A bit about my blog and my food dream was talked about and I contributed one of my favourite salad recipes! So sharing with you all the recipe and the link at the bottom. Do go through it, its got some amazing stuff!
For me, no meal – Indian or otherwise – is complete without a salad. The raw vitamins and other nutrients that salads supplement any meal with are unsurpassed. Over time, I have experimented with several ingredients just thrown together to create different salads to suit a meal.
Here’s a recipe for a simple, zingy salad that can accompany any dish and refresh a meal.

- Cut the tomatoes into large wedges (or cubes, if thatu2019s what you prefer) and keep aside in the serving bowl.
- Chop the celery fine and mix it with the tomatoes.
- Then, in a smaller bowl, mix together the vinegar, EVOO, honey and salt and stir well till it emulsifies.
- Dress the salad with this just before serving cold.
